This took DAYS to do...... No Joke.
So please, FULL VIEW If is't too dark, my apologies, the lighting settings on my laptop are screwy, and idk what's too dark and what isn't for other people....  I'm glad I finally got this done though. I started this little piece of fan art back right after my grandfather passed away as somewhat of a vent piece, and I just now finished it. The song "Tears of an Angel" By RyanDan [link] really inspired me for some odd reason... Oo Anyway..... If you can't tell, I was on a Mitten/Bolt trip again..... The rain took the longest. YES, I did get inspiration for the pose from the actual movie. I watched the same part about 20 times to get the pose as close as possible because the mood fit and everything...... Plus, I couldn't come up with a good pose on my own at the time.... -_- So yeah.... Explanation? This would be Mittens after she finally realizes her people are never coming back for her, and she leaves all of her life she knew before behind. It's sad, but the rain is meant to represent cleansing and realization. She realizes if she stays and waits for them, she'll starve, so she leaves as well and goes into a life of being a stray. As I said, the rain took forever, and the shadow on the door. Everything else was easy. This image also coincides with two other images that I have done before, and they go in order as follows::   And then this one...... WOW..... There's a small bit of style improvement  I guess with a bit more actual REFERENCE, I was able to actually pull off the Pixar style Oo(reference is a good thing) I drew Mittens in MSpaint, and then colored everything in Photoshop CS4. This is NOT 3D art.... lol so don't ask. I can't do 3D art XD (Some people have asked this before, so I must stress this) -Enjoy  Mittens/Bolt © Disney Image © me   |
